Hi! I’m Taylor
With over 17 years of playing experience and more than 5 years of coaching, I help adults of all skill levels build confidence, move with joy, and love their time on the court.
MEET YOUR coach
I'm Taylor, and I believe tennis should be joyful, accessible, and all about building genuine connections on and off the court. With a Master's in Information Systems Management from Auburn University and a Bachelor's in Business Management from Agnes Scott College, I bring both analytical thinking and a deeply people-focused approach to every lesson.
Currently, I coach adult group classes with the Raleigh Tennis Association, including Rusty Rackets for returning players and Try Play for beginner adults learning match play. My coaching journey has taken me through junior programs for ages 4–18 at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club, assisting the JV tennis team at Durham Academy, and leading private lessons and summer camps with Empact Tennis in Durham, NC.
My playing background runs deep. As a Division III varsity athlete at Agnes Scott, I worked my way up from line 4 to line 1 singles and was part of the 2014 USA South Conference Championship team, earning Tournament MVP honors. I've also trained at IMG Academy and have been passionate about this sport my entire life.
What I love most is helping adults discover (or rediscover) the pure joy of tennis. Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, I'm here to create a welcoming space where you can build confidence, improve your skills, and maybe make some lifelong friends along the way.
Ready to experience tennis in a whole new way? Let's get on the court together.
